We are thrilled to announce the founding of our company, and even more so that we get to share it with you soon. Golden Fox Theatre Company was named such in honor of “the fox” from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince. The values and ideas of this story - the founders feel - can be found within the heart of all artistic expression and creation. They are lessons of love, grief, fear, bravery, curiosity, and all things elemental of humankind. And what is art at its core, if not the exploration of our complicated, beautiful condition?

 

With this company, we hope to indulge our artists and audiences alike with quality theatre held at a higher standard; to enchant, discover, reveal, inspire, and explore. To ask the hard questions, and investigate their many facets. To take what we think we know and flip it on its head. And of course, to entertain. 

 

In some way or another, we hope you’ll join us on our journey through the wheatfields of life.
